Please read the following for your safety, and to respect Trenchmore Farm, the cattle, and members of the public who use rights of way through the farmland.
1. Trenchmore Farm is a working farm, with livestock and heavy machinery.
2. Please do not go near the cattle in fields or climb into the barns. They are calm and curious animals, but can be dangerous if they feel threatened or need to protect their young.
3. Please do not feed the cattle.
4. Please do not climb on the gates or get into any of the pens with the cattle.
5. Please stay away from the bulls.
6. Please do not get into any of the farm tractors or machinery.
7. Please do not climb on bales, equipment or farm debris.
8. Please keep dogs on leads at all times.
9. Please keep children with you at all times.
10. Please drive slowly around the farm, as there will be livestock or other visitors and children around.
11. Please watch your footing in the fields and on farm tacks as there is often uneven ground.
12. There are signposted taps for drinking water and hand washing by the toilet block.
13. There is a first aid kit in the farm office - please ask a member of staff to get this for you if you require it.
14. There is often, but not always, a first aider on site. Please bear this in mind when visiting.
15. When walking around the fields, please stick to the footpath and field perimeters so as to avoid damaging our crops and grass.
16. When walking around the fields, please stay behind electric fencing if there are livestock about. If you have a dog with you, it is best to keep them on the lead but to let go of them if the cattle run towards you as they are most likely interested in the dog, but the dog can outrun them.
