The Trenchmore Table is back on 6th November with Chef Michael Notman-Watt.

Michael Notman-Watt returns to Trenchmore after a year based in Devon. He's cooked at the Brewhouse Project in Arundel, 64 Degrees in Brighton and The Dairy in London, and was a MasterChef: The Professionals 2024 semi-finalist. An old friend of the farm who's worked with Trenchmore for many years, we're chuffed to welcome him back to the yard kitchen for another supper club.

Sussexmas: A Time-Travelling Tour of the Best Christmas Sussex Has Ever Had

11th December from 7pm

Step back through the centuries with us this Christmas, as we go hunting through Sussex's past for the food, people, presents and traditions that could make up the very best Sussexmas ever. It's part history, part treasure hunt, and part excuse for a very good argument about what deserves a comeback.

Along the way, we'll explore:

◦ Past Sussex Christmas food and drink, the more unusual the better
◦ Where in the past we might have sourced our strangest presents
◦ Which historic Sussex figures, or visitors to the county, we'd choose as our Christmas guests
◦ Christmas presents from history that were properly strange and bizarre
◦ Past and present Sussexmas traditions and games to play once the food's done
◦ The perfect Sussex walk for Boxing Day, then and now

It's a celebration that raises as many questions as it answers, chiefly: which of these old traditions should we actually bring back? Come along, get involved, and help us decide what makes it into next year's Sussexmas.

Silly Moo 7 Fun Run

Join us on 22nd May for a 7km fun run around Trenchmore Farm.

Non-runners are welcome to join for the music & vibes, and purchase food & drink on the day without booking.

Spaces for runners are limited so please book online.
The run starts in the farmyard, initially taking in our picturesque Silly Moo orchard. It then weaves around several fields, through scenic woodland and over farm tracks. As well as cows grazing, you'll likely spot various birdlife along the way and maybe even see a deer or two, before finishing your run back in the farmyard.


The 3Bros will be serving wagyu or veggie burgers in the yard for after the run, and DJ Danny will be bringing the vibes. Fancy dress encouraged. Dogs permitted if temperatures are cool enough. Each runner will receive a drink after the run, included in their ticket.


Official start time is 11am, warm up from 10.45am with the yard open for registration from 9.45am and music, food & drinks until 4pm.

What does nature friendly farming actually look like?

Join us at Trenchmore Farm for an afternoon exploring these questions with the people doing it every day.This is a rare opportunity to walk around a working livestock farm with the Trenchmore team and experienced Pasture for Life farmers, seeing first hand how healthy soils, grazing livestock and thoughtful land management can help farms become more resilient to drought, extreme weather and rising costs, while producing high quality food.

Whether you’re a farmer, a food lover, or simply curious about where your food comes from, you’ll have a rare opportunity to ask questions, hear different perspectives and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing farming.

The afternoon concludes with Trenchmore’s renowned beef burgers (vegan and gluten-free options available), fries and a pint of Trenchmore cider or a soft drink, with plenty of opportunity to continue the conversation.
