The last days of summer are, let's face it, truly behind us. But if today is anything to go by there might just be a few more glorious days of sunshine this year...
With that in mind we are throwing an end of season pop-up to celebrate the final apple swap, the culmination of this year's harvest and the last fresh butchery until December. Think Ibiza closing party 2019 but with strict social distancing rules, fewer hangovers, farmyard fresh air and finishing at 3pm. Okay, nothing like an Ibiza closing party but it will be a good way to see you all before the dark and damp sets in.
We're teaming up with the talented chefs at Brambles Sussex to bring you Trenchmore Sussex Wagyu Burgers. There is a vegan option available and every burger will come with a serving of skinny fries.
We sold out last time and will need to get the orders over to the chefs by Friday, so please pre-order.
A note about upcoming beef...
We are butchering a Sussex Wagyu and a Sussex Angus on Thursday for collection on the weekend. This is now available to order online. I'm afraid Belinda is away this week so we won't be delivering any beef, but we are always able to courier cases of cider.
After this week, we will be selling cider and working down our frozen beef stock until December. We won't be offering deliveries but will be open for collections every Friday from 5pm-6pm.
We will be taking December / Christmas orders in November and I'll email once we have worked this out.
We have had a whirlwind 6 months and I want to take this opportunity to say thank you. We feel incredibly lucky to have had such immense support from our local community. Talking about regenerative farming, hearing your feedback on our produce and watching you enjoy the yard has been such a privilege during a very tough year.
We will spend the next month or two reflecting on how to move forward, iron out the kinks and grow this beautiful community of good food grown well enthusiasts.
