Newsletter 4th November 2020

Good evening,

And I hope you thoroughly enjoy it.

So here we are again. 2020 has been relentless, and just as we were finding our feet and thinking we were moving in the right direction, we have fallen back into more anxious uncertainty.

At least this time there is still toilet roll on the shop shelves.

In addition to that, we're teaming up with a couple of people who we love and respect in the food and farming industry to broaden our rather (yet unapologetically) beef & cider heavy offering.

Harry, who some of you may recognise as the former H of V&H Cafe in Hove, set up Shrub Provisions this year to bring Sussex grown veg to the London & Sussex restaurant trade.

It's been a tough first year but Harry & Sam are both dedicated to supporting Sussex veg growers through this second lockdown, so are putting together Sussex veg boxes.

Expect to see veg from biodynamic farmer Laurie Donaldson, Nutbourne Tomatoes, Laines Biodynamic Farm, Brambletye Biodynamic Farm, Hairspring Watercress, Tablehurst Biodynamic Farm & Pea Pod Veg.

Plus free range eggs from The Old Dairy Farm and The Cheese Merchant Dairy boxes.

You can order these by midnight on Wednesday every week and collect on Friday 5-6pm or Saturday 10-11am. We may start offering deliveries again for those self-isolating but really appreciate farm collections where possible -TBC.
